These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the VocalPal mobile application, website, content, and related services provided by Huizhou Hinata Technology Co., Ltd. By using VocalPal, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Using VocalPal
You may use VocalPal for lawful personal or educational purposes. You must follow applicable laws, protect your account credentials, and provide accurate information when an account or purchase requires it. You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer the app except where law permits, or use VocalPal to violate another person’s rights.
2. Practice information, not professional advice
Pitch readings, vocal-range estimates, exercises, articles, and other feedback are intended as practice references. Results can be affected by background noise, harmonics, microphone quality, device performance, and singing technique. VocalPal does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or a guarantee of vocal outcomes. Stop if an exercise causes pain or discomfort and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping login details confidential. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Where account deletion is available, you may request it through the app or by contacting us, subject to records we must retain by law.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Paid features may be offered as one-time purchases or automatically renewing subscriptions. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewal terms, cancellation options, and refund rules are displayed by the applicable app store before purchase. Billing is handled by that store, and you must manage or cancel subscriptions through the store account used to buy them. Store terms and local law also apply.
5. Ownership
VocalPal, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, algorithms, and other service content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership to you.
6. Your content and feedback
You retain rights in content you create. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any content you import, record, export, or share. If you send ideas or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment to improve our products, provided we handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
VocalPal may link to or rely on app stores, analytics providers, social platforms, or other third-party services. We do not control those services, and their own terms and policies apply. A link does not mean that we endorse every part of a third-party service.
8. Service changes and availability
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, improve VocalPal, respond to legal requirements, or manage the service. We aim to provide a reliable experience but do not guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VocalPal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Suspension or termination
You may stop using VocalPal at any time. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—survive termination.
11. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Huizhou Hinata Technology Co., Ltd., without limiting mandatory consumer protections available where you live. We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where permitted by law.
